Vertical Aerial Photography (Map or Plan View)
Digital Sky Aerial Imaging now has the capability
to provide vertical aerial imagery. Some refer to it
as a "Plan View" or "Map View". It is essentially a
straight down view of a site. From small parcels
on up to very large areas. Each project is quoted
individually as there are too many variables to
make pricing standard.
Note: We do not provide geocorrected or
orthorectified imagery. Our imagery is for visual
use only.
Here are a few sample projects we have done
recently (see images).
Half Moon Bay Golf Course

This project was shot from 5,000 feet AGL and
required 4 flight lines of 6 images each or 24
images. My assistant Tim Porter stitched the images
together to create a single seamless mosaic image.
Hughes Mountain Preserve, Fresno, CA
|
This project was shot from 8,000 feet AGL and
required 5 flight lines with approximately 7 or 8
images per flight line or 40 images. This was more
difficult to stitch due to the very steep mountain
slope.
This project was
shot from 2,000
ft AGL and
consisted of
nearly 40 images
shot in a straight
line. You might
think it's easy to
fly a straight line
but its not. It was
extremely difficult.
